Booking Process

1. Select Health Check

Choose the plan and optional items. Consult with CS and place an order online.

2. Confirm Location and Time

Mobile Medical Group will call the customer within 1-2 working days to confirm the location and appointment time.

3. Receive Email

After confirming the appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please contact online CS.

4. Go Health Check

Please bring your ID card or passport to the designated centre to receive the service.

5. Health Check Report

The health check report is generally available within 14-21 working days. You can pick it up or have it mailed.

6. Regarding Receipts

After payment, an e-receipt will be issued by mediQ. If you need a hard copy receipt mailed, please contact online CS.

Prior to testing

• Sufficient sleeping.

• Urine sampling and female check is avoided during menstruation.

• Fasting requirement: light dinner one day prior to testing date, no alcohol or coffee. No breakfast in the morning, little water is allowed, no strenuous exercise.

Blood Taking

• Fasting at least 6 hours is preferable for tests including lipids and glucose.

• Please report fainting history during blood taking for precaution purpose.

• Press at least 3-5 minutes after blood taking.

• Medicines such as blood pressure medicine, heart medicine, etc. can be taken as usual (except diabetes medicine).

Blood Pressure, Resting ECG, Treadmill

• Blood Pressure - Avoid strenuous activities before testing.

• Resting ECG - Avoid strenuous activities before testing.

Ultrasound

• About Full Bladder - It is important to note that an urge to pass urine does not indicate you are having full bladder. A really full bladder will make you feel uncomfortable. Ultrasound requires full bladder will be judged by our sonographer.

• Upper, whole abdomen or gallbladder requires fasting for at least 6 hours.

• Pelvis, prostate or bladder requires full bladder. Please drink water before testing.

X-Ray (Plain, Contrast & Mammogram)

• If pregnant, any x-ray examination (such as plain, contrast or mammogram) must not be done.

• Alimentary Tract Contrast - Fasting and fluid intake prohibition for 8 hours are required for barium meal and follow-through. Special preparation prior to examination is required for barium enema. Please contact staff for details.

• Hysterosal pingography - Sexual intercourse is not allowed from the first day of menstruation until examination. Examination should be done within 3 days after menstruation clears up.

• Mammogram - Avoid any deodorant lotion or powder before examination.

• IVU/IVP - Fasting 4 hours before examination. Inform staff for diseases such as asthma, DM, or allergies. For DM patients requiring medication, please consult your doctor for adjustment of medication dosage.

Pap Smear (Female only)

• Avoid intravaginal drugs for 1 week before examination. 

• Avoid douching and sexual intercourse for 1 day before examination.

• The test should be avoided during menstruation and 7 days after menstruation.

H. Pylori Breath Test

• Do not take any antibiotics for at least 4 weeks before the test.

• Do not take any proton pump inhibitors(Prilosec, Prevacid, Aciphex, Nexium, Protonix) or Pepto-Bismol for at least 2 weeks before the test.

• Do not discontinue any medication without first consulting with your primary or referring doctor.

• Do not eat or drink anything (including water) for four hours before the procedure.

Fluids Collection (Urine, Stool, Semen, Secretion)

• Urine sample: You may collect a urine sample at our clinic. We will provide a container for the urine sample.

• Stool sample: Get a stool sample kit from our clinic. Use the spoon attached to the cap, and collect ONE LEVEL SPOON AMOUNTS of stool into the collection tube. Replace the cap, and tighten to avoid spilling. Please make sure the sample should be returned within 24 hours of collection. DO NOT do the test during menstruation or if you are currently bleeding from hemorrhoids. Wait until four days after your period stops. Please do not take iron supplements and eat red meat, vegetables (especially melons, radishes, broccoli, and cauliflower). • Secretion: Usually collected by our female staff. Secretion includes HVS usually for routine testing or Chlamydia examination.

• Semen sample: Collect the sample into the clean, wide mouth container suppliea. You may be able to collect the semen sample at nome and then transport it to clinic within 1 hour. You'll need to refrain from any sexual activity for at least three days. The sample should be produced by masturbation (by hand) into the plastic container provided. Do not use a condom to collect the semen sample.

Body composition not applicable to the

• Patients with implanted cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators;

• Insertion of metal plates, screws for stabilization of the bones;

• Pregnancy;

• Orthodontic treatment

Hormone

• Progesterone: Check on around day 21 of menstrual cycle or 7 days before the predicted first day of menstruation.

• E2 / PRL/ FSH / LH : Check on days 2-3 of menstrual cycle.
